However, my parents won’t allow me to have a private piano teacher.And my question is, where is a good site to learn the piano online?Hey Patricia - there’s a free introductory course available with RocketPiano at the moment.Teacher would be good though…

  I’m learning to play piano and I want to know if there’s any exercises I can do to improve my playing with the left hand. What I mean is that I cant play one rhythm with the left and another with the right, is there any way to help me?Anyone can learn to do that- you just need to practice. It’s frustrating at first, but that just means you’re learning.Find a book of simple beginners’ pieces. (Unfortunately, it will probably be aimed at 6-year olds and have an embarrassing cover- put duct tape on the front or something if that bugs you.) You want the pieces to be easy to read, so that you can focus on your hands. Work through the pieces slowly and consciously, as slowly as you need to. It might feel lame or something to be working that slow- but that is how everyone has to start a piece.

  I want to look straight to the scores while playing piano, but I can’t memorize the keyboard positions so I keep looking at the keyboard to know which key I should play. It is really disturbing, it messes up my playing because I always stop to look down. Does anybody know how to memorize it? ThanksFunny; Chopin said that someone who looks at his hands "plays like a girl", which is funny for me since Chopin is not noted for masculinity, (unlike George Sand).It comes with practice, as in typing. You know where are, and where you are going, it only seems hard now. In fact it is easier than typing.Obviously you have to find your place again in the score, every time you look down, so if you can keep your glances to a quick minimum, you will be on your way. You can even use your peripheral vision to get a general idea of the B-C and E-F locations.

  what is a normal speedhello!there are many games in the market . like typing master ,typing tutor etc in which u have write the words on yhe screen it is the test type game of 3-50 minutethanks..
