  I’m in high school and music is very important to me. I play the viola and the guitar and I used to take piano lessons. I stopped about 4-5 years ago and now I would like to start again. I took lessons for about 4 years so I’m past the basics but I’m not too advanced. Does anybody know of a few songs to get myself back into the groove of things?You need to start getting the feeling of piano keys again.1. Your fingers need to be warmed up by playing technical skills (scales, chords, variations)2. Start with easy piece that you can memorize then progress gradually. Master it!3.   what are some software that i can record a keyboard piano to a computer. the piano has a usb output on it so im guessing i can just buy the usb that goes to it. ive heard of fl studio…is that any good?and i just want to know some other softwares.I have been using fl studio for years and I love it! Yes your keyboard and fl studio will work as one if you have usb output. It comes in different levels. The fruity loops edition is o.k. it will get you working but Im not sure it will let you record. You may need to read up on this too. Then theres the producers edition which I would recomend as a minimal. I use the top notch fl studio 9xxl. That is a completley unlocked program. Extremely versatile. You can make your own drum loops and create full sounding songs with drum fills, synth, effects, and a ton more.

  Or do they have keyboards there?What will happen on the first lesson?Do I need to bring anything?Will other people be there too?Thank youdont bring anything with you. there will be a piano at the lesson. it is very unlikely that there will be other people coz almost everyone learns the piano in an individual lesson. the teacher might start with asking you to show them if you can play anything or do anything on the piano. if you cant dont worry, they wont expect you to be able to do anything. they will probably spend most the lesson talking about the piano and its functions or basic music theory. they might also talk about how to sit at a piano and hand positions. dont be worried about the lesson just enjoy it.
